2 Bidding for a customer in Brookings for a farm shop. They are wanting a 45X16 foot hydraulic door. We are looking for a quote, but also guidance on what would be recommended for framework, so we can bid the framework accurately as well. We normally build with wood, and side with steel, but we can use steel to frame the door if it's better, as we can obtain the steel, and have fabricators as well. 3 Hi, I'm Pete at the U of MN West Central Research and Outreach Center in Morris. We are working on a portable solar panel trailer to be used in a pasture setting to provide shade for dairy cattle and generate electricity. The panels will need to fold to move the trailer from pasture to pasture. From our concept designs the structures to support the panels resemble a door frame for a bi-fold door. Would Schweiss be interested in looking at out our project and possibly designing and building these panel support structures? Thanks.

11 My kids are in 4H and I built a sheep barn 18x70 and part of that I left open on the one side. It’s 4 ft high x 18 ft long. I would like to put a hydraulic low maintenance lift door on it so I can close in winter so all the dirt and trash doesn't accumulate in it, also it would be nice if could have a walk in entrance for the sheep to be able to walk in and out, for when I do have it closed

14 I am planning on building a small farm storage shed (24' x 72'), and would like to have a hydraulic or bifold door. It will have a 14 foot wide x 14 foot high door in the end wall. The end wall is 24 feet wide, and the building is stud construction on a concrete grade beam. I saw your details for reinforcing of the opening, but they showed for post-beam type construction. Is there any details you can provide for me before I begin construction as far as how to reinforce the stud end walls and rafters ? Thanks

16 Hello, I'm looking at replacing a couple of sliding barn doors on a pole barn with your bifold strap or one piece doors. The door opening are roughly 12' x 12'. They have 6x6's on the side with a double 2x12 header. I would a price on the doors and installation specs to see if this will even be doable.Please call me if you have any questions. 18 Project is in conceptual design for a new small-scale seed processing facility. The facility is envisioned to be a pre-engineered steel building with a 20 foot overhang on two sides for coarse threshing operations. The doors will form two adjacent sides of an enclosure under a shed row housing large threshing equipment. Opened hydraulic ag doors will allow airflow though the enclosed area carrying away dust from the threshing process.

20 Schweiss Doors, We are designing an agricultural structure for a client of ours using (3) bifold strap doors on the front of the structure. It will be a pre-fabricated steel frame structure, that we can send you CAD files for if necessary. We would like to have insulated metal panels on the exterior of the door to match the insulated metal panels on the skin of the building. We also need to know the header condition and overall weight of the doors so we can design for additional loads. Could you give me the additional price for a Schweiss auto latching strap system?
21 I am working on a 81'x16'x136' building for a farmer in Carlinville. He wants a 40' wide bifold agricultural door centered in the end wall and needs minimun 15'-6" clearance for his combine. Can we make that work with that building height and style? Need wainscot on outside and he may line the inside later. Give me a call or email works also to discuss options. 22 I AM LOOKING FOR A WAY TO AUTOMATE THE CLOSURE OF DOORS INSIDE MY HYDRAULIC FARM DOOR BUNKER STRUCTURE. I HAVE STEEL BALLISTIC DOORS INSIDE AND MY ENTRY DOOR IS A FAIRLY HEAVY CONCRETE FILLED DOUBLE DOOR. I CAN GET YOU THE EXACT SPECS WHEN YOU NEED THEM. 23 I have just purchased a 16' high x 22' wide roll up door and saw your add and was just wondering what the price of a bifold door that size. I would think that a Schweiss Bifold Door would be a lot better insulated than the roll up door I have.
