Boat House Doors

Hi, we are looking at your hydraulic and bi-fold products for a high-end boathouse/cottage project in Port Carling, Ontario, CAN. There will be 2 bi-fold (10'Wx9'H, clear) and one large hydraulic (18'Wx10'H, clear height not as critical). I would like to get a better understanding of details and constraints. Please provide CAD to work with. Do you have canadian distribution? I noticed a project in Newmarket, ON. with RDHA. Please call to discuss. Thank you.

We will be using a Schweiss Door for Boathouse remodel in Wisconsin. What are the finish options for the schweiss door? Would it be possible to match the dark bronze anodized finish that we will be using for other doors on the project? Thank you, Ryan

Looking for a bifold or hydraulic boathouse door, for a boathouse in upstate New York. How should I measure it for the correct fit?

We are looking at using a Schweiss Bifold door for a large boathouse door Project in Portland Oregon. The door is 10' W x 16' H and is to be cladded in a stainless steel and rustic pine. We need approx 14' 6" clear Ht when open. The boathouse is to be log construction. Can we get some spec info in the form of a PDF? And do you have a Revit model of the bifold door? Thanks -Nick

I am the estimator for a high end construction company. Currently, I am looking for a hydraulic door for a boat house that will house a sea plane and a boat. Very similar to the one in Canada pictured on your website.  The door RO on the plans is 34 x 14. The home we are building is on Whitefish Lake in Northwest Montana. Our client will be flying in for the weekend beginning the 28th. Would it be possible to get a quote from you for this door and a brochure on your products so I can give him a take away? We will be breaking ground on this house in June so we are currently in budgeting phase and I will need a placeholder for this door. Can you help me out? Please call with questions. Thanks, Tracy

Looking for a Schweiss tried and tested boathouse (hydraulic or bifold) door that would be approximately 16 feet wide by 8 feet high. How would I be able to get a sense of approximate costs and timing. The location is in New Hampshire on a lake and I would also like to understand how durable these doors would be in extremely cold temperatures (even though they would not be operating in these conditions) and what types of warranties exist for such conditions. I would like a price to include remote openers. The boathouse is wooden. T

I presently have a 40 ft wide door 13 ft. high. I have a counter weight system to assist with opening and closing of the boathouse door. I would like to switch over to using a hydraulic system to operate the door. The opens and closes fine with the boat winch and cable system but the system is getting older and would like to upgrade the it.

I'm looking to replace the "garage" door on my boathouse. It has a poured concrete walls that are 11 inches thick. Currently has a standard lift up garage door on tracks, however, in order to fit the boat I need the additional 11 inches of thickness of the wall - so would like to find a solutions that mounts on the outside of the wall versus the inside of the wall. Any Schweiss boathouse door solutions that you can provide would be great.

Hi Schweiss, I'm looking at a door very similar to the Lake Tahoe Schweiss boathouse door project with vertical wood siding. This is for a rural residence that is closed up much of the time. When they do open the doors, they will need shade. First choice is a hydraulic one-piece door, but the bifold will work. My guess is that wind will be a factor as this is an exposed location. First step is to see if a ballpark estimate doesn't scare the owner away! I can send a rendering if that would help. Thanks, Andres  & Assoc. Architects

We are looking for a boathouse door solution that, for aesthetic reasons, won't include the tracks of a sectional door. We thought either a bifold door or a Schweiss tilt-up hydraulic operated canopy door might be that solution. Our concern is minimizing the distance between the bottom of the header and the bottom of the door when it is open. Will someone please call me to discuss what that distance would be given the door size information below?

i'm building a boathouse and i would like to know if you sell the Schweiss bifold boathouse doors in italy regards
